2000 Honda S2000 for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this 2000 Honda S2000 featured in New Formula Red with a black interior. This convertible has had one owner making it a vehicle with 6,082 miles. Honda's S2000 was built with one purpose: driving fun. It has the stuff sports-car fantasies are made of: a front-engine, rear-drive layout; a six-speed, close-ratio manual transmission; disc brakes; and supportive, firm bucket seatsall in a package that weighs less than 2800 pounds. The S2000s most unique feature is its high-revving 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine pumping out an incredible 240 horsepower at 8300 rpm with an 8900-rpm redline. The chassis tuning is nearly perfect with an ideal 50/50 weight distribution. The tires always feel precisely planted. As your would expect from Honda, they eliminated some traditional sports-car vices. You will find plenty of legroom, even for six-footers. There's a dead pedal for your left foot and enough room in the pedal box to allow unhampered footwork. The power soft top lowers in six seconds. And the car is built with Hondas legendary quality. Our Honda S2000 in an investment-grade example that has been cherished from new and presented in unblemished and totally original condition.
