Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to offer this clean 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS. These Impalas are rising stars in the collector car world for one simple reason: the days of stuffing a 5.7L V8 into a family sedan are pretty much gone and theyre not likely coming back. The V8, rear-wheel-drive, body-on-frame platform that vehicles like this offer is quite literally a thing of the past and this 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS for sale was the last year that General Motors offered this traditional combination in a car. Behind the 5.7L LT1 V8 in this Impala is a 4-speed automatic transmission. When the 1994 Impala SS was introduced, you could have it in any color you wanted, if you wanted black; but for 1995 and 1996, Chevrolet added two more colors: Dark Cherry, and Dark Green Gray Metallic (DGGM). A special treat about this specific vehicle is that legend John Moss has signed the Impala SS in a couple different spots. These cars are essentially manufactured sleepers, as most people would not expect them to pack the punch that they do. The interior of this SS is a welcoming gray leather and includes creature comforts youd expect from a family-hauling sedan such as air conditioning, power seats, a CD player, cruise control, power locks, and power windows. To say this car is roomy is an understatement - the trunk on this Impala SS could be rented out as an apartment in Tokyo (heh, heh), having enough space for three tour-sized golf bags, plus a cooler for on-course refreshments.
