1992 Ferrari F40

Arguably the most iconic car of all time, the F40 was also the first car to go 200mph and the last Ferrari personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. This stunning F40 is one of only 213 US-spec cars and one of only 60 in the highly desirable 1992 specification. This example still wears the original Rosso Corsa paint and Stoffa Vigogno cloth interior that it left Maranello with. The Classiche Certification performed in 2020 verified that this vehicle has the original numbers matching engine and gearbox amongst other items. As one of very few current Ferrari dealers that sold F40s when new, we can proudly say that this is one of the finer examples of the F40 on the market today. Included with the vehicle are the original toolkit, service book, owners manual, factory fix-a-flat can, copy of the original window sticker, and various additional documents. This F40 was painstakingly gone through top-to-bottom by a Ferrari of Lake Forest certified Master Technician. Under our stewardship, we have completed a major cam belt service, replaced suspension bushings on upper and lower control arms (front and rear), upper and lower shock bushings (front and rear), replaced engine mount, replaced valve cover gasket, performed a full fluid service, replaced fuel injectors and ignition wiring, performed a leak down test, and capped it all off with an in-depth dry ice cleaning. With just over nine thousand miles on the odometer you can enjoy and drive an F40 that shows like a one thousand mile car both outside and in.
