Completed in 2018, the 1989 Carrera 3.2's original build sheet narrates the tale. Beginning with a blank canvas, the pre-74 aesthetic is created with new steel front wings, a front slam panel, a full length steel bonnet, a rear engine lid, a chrome grille from the early specification, steel full length sills, and composite front and rear bumpers in the RS style. It also benefits from the smooth and quick-shifting Getrag G50 gearbox because it is built on a late Carrera 3.2. The most significant change to the drive is the later installation of EZ Power Steering, which reduces the typical weight during low-speed maneuvers while keeping the rich, satisfying 911 steering feel you desire as the speed increases.
