Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present for sale, on consignment, this low mileage 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am! Since this car left the showroom floor it has averaged less than 1000 miles per year! A clean CarFax supports the mileage claim and is available on request along with a list of recent work performed to keep this car running in top shape.The exterior white paint is in great shape, there is a new, paint matched rear spoiler installed to replace the original one that succumbed to the notorious cracking. Also a new rear hatch motor was installed to replace the OEM motor that failed. The Mass Air Flow Sensor was another common issue with this era Trans Am that the owner spent time and money to find a proper solution. A Fi-Tech Ultimate TPI kit including an ECU, engine wiring harness, handheld controller, wideband O2 sensor, 3 bar MAP sensor, 700R4/200R4 transmission connector for torque converter lockup control and a second wideband 02 sensor and harness was installed to improve driveability, reliability and tunability. Other features and options include Air Conditioning, Heat, Tilt Steering, Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, T-Tops, Aluminum Mesh Wheels, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, Power Antenna, Cruise Control, Performance Tires, Seatbelts and Rear Defrost.With the bugs worked out and the low mileage, this is a great opportunity to pick up a very well sorted out 89 Trans Am. The resto-mod craze has been focusing on the Trans Ams and Camaros from this era, making this an awesome candidate for a build or, just drive it like it is!
