*1989 Ferrari 328 GTB* * 1 of an Estimated 52 ABS Equipped 328 GTBs Sold in The United States * 3.2L (3185cc) DOHC V8 * 270HP * 4-Valves Per Cylinder * Bosch K-Jetronic Fuel Injection * 5-Speed Manual Gearbox * Dogleg First Gear * Just 11,361 Verified Miles * Dual-Zone Climate Control * Connolly Leather Interior * Momo 3-Spoke Steering Wheel * Red Carpeting * Unmolested, All-Original ExampleFinished in the ultimate Ferrari color scheme of Rosso Corsa over Beige leather with Red carpets, this 328 GTB shows just 11,361 miles at the time of cataloging and is in remarkable condition. It is believed that only 35 328 GTBs were sold in the United States in 1989, and just 52 were produced for the US with the mid-cycle refresh which fits the car with ABS. This car spent considerable time in storage while under the care of its second owner who purchased it in 1995 and parked it in a climate controlled garage until 2012, only to recondition it and park it again until 2019. The mid-cycle refresh cars are immediately identifiable by the unique 5-spoke convex wheels that this car wears, which were required for the new ABS system. The interior is a stunning combination of beige Connolly leather, which is paired with deep red carpets which tend to be quite rare on a US-spec Ferrari. The black leather wrapped dashboard sits low and the Momo 3-spoke steering wheel frames a simple gauge pod in front of the driver with just a speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure and water temperature gauges. In the center stack sits a clock, as well as oil temperature and fuel level gauges, along with a Kenwood CD stereo. The car is also fitted with one of the first decent air conditioning systems to ever land in a Ferrari which makes these great touring cars.Sitting transversely just behind the driver and passenger is a 3.2-liter V8 with 4 valves per cylinder and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Producing 270 horsepower, this is widely regarded as one of Ferrari's most reliable engines and does not require removal to change the cam belts. Paired to a 5-speed manual transaxle with a dog-leg first gear, the 328 is capable of 0-60 in just 5.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 165 mph. This car had a belt service completed in February of 2019 by Autosprint LTD in Chicago, IL and has seen just over 2,300 miles of use since then.*Additional Information* * Owner's Manual w/Leather Folio * Complete Factory Tool Roll * Emergency Light * Space Saver Spare w/ Jack * Some Ownership History * Collector Quality * Classic Colors w/ Beautiful Factory Red Carpets*HISTORY*The Ferrari 308 and 328 are some of the brand's most iconic cars from the 1970s and 1980s. The 308 was the first in a long line of mid-engine V8 powered Ferraris, and the 328 took everything that made the 308 great, and improved on it. These two models were some of the first mass produced Ferraris, although that is a very relative term with just 12,000 308s produced over 10 years, and less than 7,
