Seller's Comments
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1986 Porsche 928 S for your consideration. Powered by its 5.0L V8, power is sent to the rear wheels through the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Within the last couple hundred miles, this example has undergone very thorough maintenance. The water pump, timing belt, all fluids, and battery were replaced in addition to a tune-up at Euro Autowerks here in West Michigan. Receipts from the maintenance accompany the vehicle and are available upon request. Finished in a Black exterior over a black leather interior, this example presents itself well. With its unique pop up headlights, power windows, power seats, air conditioning, and sunroof, theres a lot to love about this 928 S. Now is your opportunity to carve through backroads while rowing the gears in your own front engine Porsche. Introduced in 1978 the Porsche 928 was anything but Porsche. Front-engine, V8, automatic transmission, were all words that were not synonymous with the brand. The car was futuristic in design and the Luxury Sport Grand Touring 928 combined the power, poise, and handling characteristics of a sports car with the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxury sedan leading many executives to believe it was to replace the 911 as its appeal would hold a wider audience.
