1986 Chevrolet Blazer

VERY COOL, CLEAN 1986 CHEVROLET K5 MILITARY BLAZER. M1009 CUCV. Complete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at www.4-wheelclassics.com This 1986 Chevy Blazer is a M1009 CUCV Military Blazer is a really clean, very original truck that came out of North Carolina and we were told it was a Fort Bragg Blazer. This is a really nice example of an original Military Blazer. The body on this truck is clean and the CARC paint appears to be mostly original which is rare to see. It has both of the correct military bumpers and military markings. It has a new windshield. The underside is super clean and we found no rust issues with this rig. The interior is your basic military interior and it is original and in great Shape. It still has the original seats, original door panels, and original dash pad. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The Blackout lights are working except for the rear driver side. The horn, heat, and windshield wipers work. It also has the M16 Gun Mounts still in place which is pretty cool. Mechanically this Blazer is excellent. It starts easy and runs and drives great. The engine is believed to be the original 6.2L Diesel that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. The last owner installed a new injection pump. We did not get the receipt but you can see it is new. It was also converted to a completely 12 Volt system. It has the Turbo 400 Automatic transmission that shifts nice. It is mated to the np208 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The front and rear axles are both 10 Bolts with 3.08 gears. This is all sitting on a set of factory steel wheels with 31 Inch Mud Terrain Tires. These Military Blazers are getting very hard to find in this condition.
