TREMENDOUS INVESTMENT POTENTIAL A DREAM FOR THE PORSCHE COLLECTOR OPTIONS INCLUDE: FOUR-WHEEL DISC BRAKES W/VENTILATED ROTORS FUCHS ALLOY WHEELS LEATHER SEATS CRUISE CONTROL POWER WINDOWS AIR CONDITIONING BLAUPUNKT AM/FM/CASSETTE STEREO The 911 SC is perhaps one of the most important variants of the 911 ever produced due to the simple fact that its success helped cement the model's importance in the brand's hierarchy. Engineered as the last 911, the SC, for Super Carrera, was designed to be a world car, with few changes needed to meet standards across the many varied restrictions set by each country. This not only reduced R&D costs but also helped keep manufacturing overhead to a minimum. Initially only available as a coupe or targa, Porsche released the SC cabriolet in late 1982 for the 1983 model year - this was the first full cabriolet for the company since 356 production ended in 1965. The resulting vehicle was a fabulous sports car well-known to pull hard in any gear thanks to its 3.0L Flat-6 derived from the 1974 911 Turbo along with the driving feel and handling expected of a 911. All without compromising on comfort, as ever more luxury features become standard. Power was initially 180hp, though this was increased by 1981 to 204hp thanks to upgraded fuel injection and an increase in compression. All told, the 911 SC sold in sufficient quantities to prove that the 911 still had a place in the companys portfolio, thereby paving the way for the 911s future. The fact it is still a fabulous driving machine by modern standards adds to the desirability of this exceptional investment. The exceptional 1983 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 Cabriolet featured here is finished in striking Grand Prix White over a Can-Can Red leather interior with a Black folding convertible top. This investment-grade 911 SC has been driven just 41,538 miles from new and is among one of the finest examples you'll find in the market today. Because of its low miles, incredible condition, and one-year only limited production, I believe this Porsche will prove to be a tremendous investment for its next caretaker. We are proud to offer this exquisite 911 SC to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best at an investment price!
