Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is excited to present this 1983 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas for sale. This Series III, XJ6 Vanden Plas is sure to turn heads everywhere you go. In 1982 the Vanden Plas became available at a sticker price of $32,000. Compared to its normal Series II XJ6 sticker price of $25,000, that was a $7,000 upgrade at the time. This package included Special metallic paint colors and hand-painted coach stripes, as well as sheepskin fleece throw rugs, a burl walnut-trimmed dash, console and door panels, and swiveling rear compartment reading laps. Connolly leather covered seats, door panels and console, and the rear compartment swapped a bench seat for two individually sculpted buckets separated by a fold-down center armrest with integral storage. Powering this 1983 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas is the original 4.2 Liter 6 Cylinder engine, coupled with the original Automatic transmission. This collectors item is showing only 79,833 miles on the odometer. The exterior is done is a metallic dark gray, paired to soft leather tan interior.
