Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this sleek silver 1982 Mercedes 380 SL. The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is a grand touring sports car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sport-Leicht, translating to Sport Light in English. In 1971 the R107 was introduced with new design language and safety features that spread to the subsequent Mercedes-Benz models. For the first time, the V8 engines were fitted to the SL-Class. This SL has a variety of features that that buyers will appreciate, including conveniences such as air conditioning, aluminum wheels, radial tires, power windows, AM/FM/Cassette radio and cruise control. This classic is colored in Silver, and has a beautiful blue synthetic leather interior. Although having the two roof options of a hard-top and a soft-top makes this fun all year, we all know these SLs are the most fun when the top comes off.
