Ferrari of Lake Forest is Proud to Present this One of Twenty Five 1979 Ferrari 512 BB LM Finished in Stunning Rosso Corsa wearing an Equipco and Lake Forest Sports Cars Livery. This Ferrari 512 BB LM has just finished race prep by Motion Products which included dyno testing both motors. Currently the back up motor is installed in the car and made a healthy 478 rear wheel horsepower at 8,000 RPM! This 512 BB LM is highly eligible for the Le Mans Classic running in 2025, Monterey Historics and many more vintage races. The original motor was also dyno tested and run in the car, the engine made 418 rear wheel horsepower at 8,000 RPM. This Ferrari 512 BB LM raced at the 1985 24 Hours of Daytona taking 16th place overall, 13th place at Lime Rock, 17th and 20th place finishes at Watkins Glen, and a DNF at the 1985 12 Hours of Sebring. The car has also been campaigned at the 2008-2009 Monterey Historics. Ferrari Classiche Red Book dated 2011 is included with the sale as well as other supporting documentation.
