1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Pace Car Edition This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Pace Car Edition lived in Pennsylvania and has only 391 original miles. Just 6,502 of these black and silver Corvettes were produced, each with a unique vin. Power is provided by a 350ci L82 V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. Interior amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat, an AM/FM eight-track stereo, cruise control, power windows, and a tilting steering column. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level are in the center stack. This is a great car with some decent collectability, but importantly with T-tops and some of the best handling the 70's had to offer on any car produced, this is a great car to cruise on a sunny day to a car show or your favorite destination.
