Mercury Marketed the Cougar from 1967 to 2002 and is most commonly associated with a two door couple. For one year only, the Cougar also came in a massive station wagon configuration known as the Villager. This 1977 Mercury Cougar Villager Station wagon, measuring over 223 inches in length, is large and in charge. It has a stately appearance finished in Green Metallic factory paint with classic Woodgrain side decals over green interior. The car has been driven just over 80000 miles since new and remains highly original in all areas. It is powered by its 351 V8 engine, automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. Features include power steering, power brakes, am/fm stereo, cruise control, A/C, deluxe wheel covers luggage rack, two way rear door, power driver seat, rear storage, power rear window, etc. Mechanically, the car starts easy, does not smoke, and sounds great. It drives down the road extremely smooth and commands attention where it is seen. The paint is deep and glossy, the decals are complete and show the right amount patina, the interior is clean and tidy, the lights and gages work including the clock and the underside is original, free from rot and honest. If you are a fan of station wagons, and or quality originals, this Mercury Cougar Villager Station wagon is a must consider. There is plenty of room for the whole family, aunt Edna and the dog.
