1974 BMW 2002 tii finished in Malaga with Tan interior. Refinished in original color, upgrades - Bilstein shocks /springs, Wood Steering wheel, Recaro seats in BMW fabric with matching rear reupholstered seats, Ansa Exhaust, Minilite 15' wheels, engine- stage one rebuild by Korman Autoworks. Restored between 1988 & 1991, restoration cost was over $16k on parts and over 1600 hours to the restoration. Engine rebuild was done by Korman Autoworks. The body is said to be striped and sand blasted to bear metal inside and out. Replacement parts used to replace any rusted panels including hood, trunk lid, doors & front fenders. Body finished in Dupont etching primer, 3M sealers Sikkens OTO bodycoat, finish primer & 8 hand sanded coats of Galasurit urethan paint. New sound deadening materials, rubber seals, trim pieces, clips & hardware. Interior- received new carpet, headliner, door panels, console, factory seat covers and 2002 turbo steering wheel Subframe- parts were all refinished or replaced as needed. All new rubber bushings, brake lines, wheel calipers, wheel cylinder, bearings, boots & hardware. Very well documented and well maintained. Includes receipts for restoration, car cover, OEM Muffler & trickle charger. Current owner acquired this tii May 2014 from California and had it shipped in a closed carrier to Florida. He stated the car has been garage kept under cover and on a lift for the last 10 years. Driven only 362 miles on those special days.
