Seller's Comments

Celebrating our 65 year anniversary! This family owned and operated business was established in 1960, making us the oldest classic car dealership in America. Special thank you to all our customers for entrusting us to park the car of your dreams in your driveway while preserving automotive history for future generations to embrace and enjoy. -Grams family & Volo Museum staff This car is new, literally! Everywhere I look I see new parts from the glass to the wiring. EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is far better than it ever was at the factory! Every square inch is laser beam straight and the gaps are all proper. The beautiful cinnamon metallic paint is laid out evenly and polished like wet ice. It has a dovetail spoiler on the trunk and sport mirrors on the doors. It has all new chrome and trim including the bumpers, it has split bumpers in the front. The lenses are replaced, the headlights are upgraded with LED. headlights. All new glass, weatherstrips and seals. The stance is great sitting on a sharp set of 19x8 Boze wheels in front, 20x10 in back! INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car, and when I say it looks new, I literally mean it looks brand new! I can't find an item that isn't new. It is restored to original condition with a few upgrades. Down on the floor is new carpet with Z28 embroidered mats. The seats are reupholstered and have new headrests and seat backs. New door panels, handles and window cranks. In front of me is a perfect fitting new dash pad. The instrument panel and plastic trim parts are new. It has a full set of factory gauges including a 6500 redline tachometer. Even the steering column and steering wheel look new. It has a retro stereo with kick panel speakers. There's also a new center console with the staple shifter. Upgraded electric slide climate controls and an oil pressure gauge is mounted below the dash. The headliner, visors and mirror are new. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Yes, it looks brand new in here too! That's a date coded 396 that was completely rebuilt, has a roller cam and lifters. On top is a GM aluminum low rise intake with a dual feed Holley carb, billet distributor and MSD coil. Great looking set of tall, 396 etched valve covers, the plug wires are run neatly. The brackets, pulleys, alternator, fuel pump, exhaust manifolds look stock and new. It features power steering and the power brakes are upgraded with a Wilwood master cylinder. It was treated to a Classic Auto Air air conditioning system. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps it running cool. New wiring, horns, wiper motor. All the metal surfaces are painted very smooth and tighty. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick. The weatherstrip was replaced and a gas strut was installed to lift the trunk automatically. Inside is spotless metal painted a semi gloss black with a carpeted Z28 mat with bound edges. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame, every component was removed from under this car. All clean metal was prepped and neatly sprayed satin black. The front end steering and suspension is completely replaced, it has CPP tubular control arms, upgraded swaybar and Viking coilover adjustable gas shocks. In back it has Hotchkis leaf springs and polished adjustable Viking gas shocks. The fuel system was completely replaced. It has a custom stainless steel exhaust with X-Pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers. The brake system was completely replaced and upgraded with Wilwood drilled and slotted discs at all four wheels. Looking up at the motor it's fresh Chevy Orange and has a high torque starter. The Turbo 400 automatic is completely rebuilt and has a nice ribbed aluminum oil pan. The rebuilt drive shaft leads back to the Moser 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 posi gears wearing an aluminum girdle cover. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best
