It inhales deeper with a four-barrel carburetor, and Dougs headers exhale with added power. ts ready for the long haul with cruise control and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Theres even an adjustable air ride rear suspension so that this GMC can even handle the larger loads in the back. Add in power steering, power brakes, front discs, and Bilstein shocks, and you have a solid all-around Suburban. Step inside, and youll be greeted by a host of modern conveniences seamlessly integrated into this classic vehicle. Plush carpeting, cold blowing air conditioning custom door panels, cup holders, power locks, an alarm, a custom headliner w/console, and fully upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth and subwoofer speakers are all part of a very modern experience. You still have two wide rows of bench seats, but now they are done in supple leather. Its a great drivers set up with a custom sport steering wheel on a tilt column and full gauges w/tach. More of the modern appeal comes from removing the trim and badging for a sleeker sense of style. But the way the custom stripe package adds pinstriping and a cool trim-like line down the sides are reminders that this upgraded Suburban still knows how to be a true classic. In fact, speaking of vintage details, youll love the hot rod style side mirrors and Ridler wheels. So no matter if youre looking to haul friends, family, or your toys, this classic can do it, and it can handle it all at once!
