GM was USA #1 through the 1960s and Ford was doing working hard to take the crown. The 1968 Galaxie 500 Fords leading effort. This car is heavy in the features, with AM/FM radio, Power Convertible top, Power Brakes, Power steering, Seat belts, and Tilt steering. Under the hood resides a big block 390ci V8 spinning a C6, 3-speed automatic. This packs the muscle expected of an America cruiser and accelerates with authority and shifts like butter - a great driver. Drop the powered white top and youre greeted with white front and rear bench seats - both free of rips and tears and an elegant classically 60s dash with hardly any wear. The white interior is complimented by the burgundy exterior, show casing the crisp, big, hipped body, with no rust and great chrome and stainless trim. Everything is just as you remembered it from 1968. This car is ready to hit the road!
