Seller's Comments

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is beyond excited to be able to present probably one of the finest custom 1st Gen Camaros youve ever laid eyes on... this professionally built, pro touring style 1968 Chevrolet Camaro! This Camaro, named Mighty Mouse, is a complete, top to bottom work of art created by the guys at The Hill Country Rod Shop in Kingland,TX. over the course of a few years & no expense was spared. This started off as a labor of love for the Father/Daughter tandem that have owned this Camaro for the last 38 years, but somewhere down the line, Dad went crazy on it & what you see is the result! It is powered by a dynoed & show ready 602hp/587 lb-ft Dart 427CID engine fitted with Mahle aluminum pistons, an Eagle Knife Edge crank & Eagle H-beam rods, Dart Pro Platinum Series heads, a Bullet Racing Cams custom ground cam, and an entire list of high end internals (all available at request), in addition to the Edelbrock Victor Jr. air gap single plane manifold that was port matched to the heads, an 850CFM Quick Fuel carb, MSD, a Vintage Air front runner system, etc... Im sure you are getting the picture here, this is all about high end quality & performance. The power is run through a completely worked Trick Hughes 700R-4 automatic with stall, an Inland Empire 4 high strength aluminum shaft & into a 3.73 geared GM 12 bolt, laying down all that horsepower to the pavement.Keeping things pointed in the right direction is helped with the Heidt Pro G front subframe & suspension, Detroit Speed rear suspension, Competition Engineering sub-frame connectors & traction bars, Hotchkis Performance sway bar, rack & pinion steering and Bilstein shocks, tubular A-Arms and a set of chromed coil overs. Stopping this Mouse is handled with ease thanks to a Wilwood 13 slotted & drilled rotor/6 Piston set up & the stance is gorgeous with the 2 dropped spindles, the Boze Alloy customThe paint scheme was laid down by Lance Liscum at The Hill Country Rod Shop as well, where all the emblems, marker light and door handles were shaved and a hand rubbed Viper Red/Black & Silver paint scheme was applied. The beauty carries over to the interior, featuring custom Recaro leather seats, Simpson 5-point harnesses, Dakota Digital, a killer sound system with a USB port and Bluetooth running through Polk Audio & Focal speakers. This build is incredible & so is the stance, compliments of a 2 spindle drop & a wicked set of Boze Alloy custom billet wheels with 19 9.5s up front and 20 x12s in the mini tubbed rear. If only the top of the line is the way you roll, then this Pro Touring 1968 Camaro is right in your wheelhouse! It has the looks, the neck snapping performance & the suspension of a road racer, all wrapped up in a 1968 Camaro wrapper.
