Celebrating our 65 year anniversary! This family owned and operated business was established in 1960, making us the oldest classic car dealership in America. Special thank you to all our customers for entrusting us to park the car of your dreams in your driveway while preserving automotive history for future generations to embrace and enjoy. -Grams family & Volo Museum staff INTRODUCTION: Look at those colors-absolutely stunning, and yes, it was born this way! It's been treated to smart upgrades too: disc brakes on all four corners, ice-cold air conditioning, and a great-looking set of rims. Nicely restored, affordable, and remarkably dry clean metal. EXTERIOR: What a looker! The Silver Frost paint looks amazing and was polished to a slick and reflective finish. When looking down the side of the body it is straight as an arrow with smooth contours and crisp lines. All the panels have been meticulously aligned with nice gaps that are well above average. The doors close easily with minimal effort. It is equipped with dual mirrors, all the bright work has a glorious shine and the bumpers have been rechromed. The headlights have been upgraded to bright halogen units, the tail lights are nice and clear. The front grille looks to be original and in fantastic condition. The black convertible top is in excellent shape, it also has a red convertible boot that matches the interior. It's rolling on a set of 17 inch chrome American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich radial tires. INTERIOR: Amazing colors! This red really pops against the silver exterior. The front bucket seats are in great condition and feel like they may have been restuffed. The rear seat was reupholstered to match. The door panels were also replaced and show wonderfully. The dash pad and carpeting both look like new. It also has floor mats embroidered with the Mustang logo. The original gauges are in great shape and there is a modern stereo neatly installed in the glove box and tunes are delivered through kick panel speakers. On top of the original console is a removable center console with arm rest, storage, and cup holders. The air conditioning unit mounted under the dash literally looks like new. It has red seat belts with chrome Mustang buckles for the front and back passengers. No complaints here, what a good looking and comfortable interior! ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Strong runner! The 289 is very well built and provides more than adequate power. It's pretty stock looking with its correct style Ford blue air cleaner. Upgraded with a modern air conditioning for those extra hot days. All the belts and hoses have been replaced. The battery is properly secured and the squirters are hooked up including the original style washer fluid bag. The radiator has been upgraded to a larger aluminum unit that keeps the engine running nice and cool. The master cylinder is also upgraded to a safer dual reservoir. The underside of the hood is painted Silver Frost just like the body and inside the bay has nice satin black paint. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Nicely finished! The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted body color. The weatherstrip was replaced and a reproduction jack sticker added. Inside is carpeted with bound edges and Mustang logo embroidery. Under the carpet is solid rust free steel. UNDERSIDE: The floors are amazing! They appear to be bone dry metal with original paint and factory primer. It was purposely not painted over so you can see how clean the original metal is, about the best I've ever seen. All the steering components have been maintained as needed and currently work well. It has a big fat front sway bar with newer bushings and links. Outback has new leaf springs, shackles, and air shocks. Upgraded with an SSBC 4 wheel disc brake system that has red calipers, drilled and slotted discs. The dual exhaust system was replaced and has new tubes plus Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the 289 engine everything looks proper and the C4 automatic
