Between 2018 and 2023, the car was subject to a comprehensive restoration with a build binder filled with photos and receipts. Finished in Black Raven, the car has a particularly muscular look thanks to a 1-inch drop on Shelby suspension and a set of 15-inch American Racing Torq-Thrust Wheels. The 289 V8 is really the engine that the Mustangâs reputation was built on, although you could order it with some more fuel efficient options, a revvy 289 V8 and a manual transmission were what made the car special.
