Celebrating our 65 year anniversary! This family owned and operated business was established in 1960, making us the oldest classic car dealership in America. Special thank you to all our customers for entrusting us to park the car of your dreams in your driveway while preserving automotive history for future generations to embrace and enjoy. -Grams family & Volo Museum staff AKA 1964 , this gorgeous Mustang is an early production with features unique only to the first batch built. Aside from that it has stunning colors and the D code 289 V8 engine which includes dual exhaust and a 4 barrel carb. Making things even better it's a 4-speed manual and has modern air conditioning. Desirable? Yeah, I think so! EXTERIOR: Beeeuteeful! Amazing factory color combination. The body is straight, clean and the doors open like new. Repainted its original Caspian Blue color. The metal flake is laid out evenly and it has a smooth glossy finish. There are some chips if you look for them. The white vinyl really enhances the good looks. Overall, the chrome, trim, glass and weatherstrips are in very good condition. The 15 inch chrome wheels wearing BFG tires add to its muscle image. INTERIOR: I absolutely love the factory style 2 tone white with blue interior. The jambs are nicely painted plus the latches and weatherstrips were replaced. The door panels, armrests, handles, and cranks have been replaced as well. The dashpad was also replaced and all the dash metal neatly painted white. Extra vents were added under the dash for the modern a/c system. All the knobs, gauges, and bezels are looking good plus the car is equipped with a Rally-Pac that also gives you a handy tachometer and clock. A modern retro stereo fits nicely in the factory hole. Between the recovered bucket seats, is the original center console that includes a storage compartment and the 4 speed manual shifter. The rear seat was also recovered and it has seatbelts front and back. The rear shelf, sun visors, white headliner and blue carpeting were also replaced. It has a white steering wheel and column that looks super sharp. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, I was more than pleasantly surprised to see the previous owner just added air conditioning. They also upgraded it with an aluminum radiator and electric fan to keep the motor running cool. It is a D code engine which is the 289 that came with a four-barrel carb and dual exhaust. The codes and tag say that it is a correct engine. It is restored to stock condition with the correct carburetor, manifolds, chrome valve covers, fuel pump, canister filter and even reproduction spark plug wires. Also, it has desirable power steering and power brakes. I like the FOMOCO washer fluid bag hooked to an electric pump that feeds the squirters. Being a 64 1/2 it has a generator, a red relay, and louvers in front of the battery. The battery has an Autolite topper and a disconnect switch. The engine bay is super clean metal painted semi-gloss black. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's completely painted the dark blue body color. It also includes a reproduction mat and a spare tire. UNDERSIDE: It appears that the steering system was rebuilt during restoration and currently works great. The rear suspension was also rebuilt with new shocks and fresh-looking leaf springs. This car is equipped with front power disc brakes and rear drum. The dual exhaust was also replaced during restoration, it has a crossover pipe and polished tips exiting under the rear bumper. The gas tank was replaced. Looking up at the correct 289 engine everything is neatly painted Ford blue and it has a Motorcraft oil filter. The 4 speed manual transmission also looks fresh and the mount was replaced. The driveshaft looks like it was rebuilt and leads to a 9 inch rear end. The floors are solid metal finished in red oxide primer with sealent at the seams. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a te
