The Fairlane nameplate was used for seven generations of vehicles throughout its production with the name coming from Dearborn Michigan Estate of Henry Ford. It would be marketed in a variety of different body styles depending on the year. The fourth generation of the car was built between 1962 and 1965 and at that time was the intermediate car between the compact Falcon and the flagship Galaxie. This particular stunning car is largely original with the mileage believed to be accurate. This is a C-code 289 car that was originally a manual car however, the original owner had the dealer install an automatic shortly after taking delivery. The paint, chrome, interior are in very good driver quality condition. The engine bay and trunk are very tidy with all lights and gauges in working order. This is a power brake car with no power steering. This wonderful little car starts right up, has a really nice sound and idles immediately. This car had long term ownership with the current owner doing fuel system, exhaust, suspension, brakes, fluids and tires in the last couple of years. It goes down the road very nicely. We welcome any questions or inspections here in our Traverse City location.
