1961 Chevrolet Impala

Shes real fine this 409! This beautiful Classic Bubble Top was a labor of love for the previous owner and he had it built to replicate the specs of what you would have seen on the road in the 60s! Finished in Roman Red with White accents and plenty of shiny stainless and chrome with a polished set of 15 inch American Racing wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radials on all four corners. Lots of money was spent under the hood with a fresh performance built 409/409 Horsepower, polished and ported heads, Isky cam, lots of polished Edelbrock goodies including a polished aluminum dual quad intake, dual Edelbrock 550 cfm carburetors, finned valve covers, matching air cleaners, MSD ignition with Pertronix billet distributor, Zoops aluminum pullys, Griffin aluminum radiator with pusher and puller electric fans, polished alternator and Vintage A/C compressor, Dougs Tri Y headers with dual Flowmasters and side exit exhaust for a nice rumble. Power gets put to the ground with a T-10 4 speed transmission with Hydraulic operated Centerforce performance clutch and ending with an Eaton 3.73 Posi-Traction rear differential. The interior is equally as nice as the rest of this machine with a Red and White two tone roll and pleat Ultraleather bench seat, matching door panels, Red carpets with custom mats, arm rest cup holders, reduced size factory looking steering wheel, vintage Stewart Warner under dash gauges, column mounted vintage Sun tachometer and Custom Auto Sound stereo. It takes years and a lot of blood sweat and tears to recreate a car like this when you can just write a check and be cruising it tomorrow for a lot less money!
