Styling was largely the same as most of the changes were mechanical, though s new curved windshield made for a significantly more modern appearance. New alloy engines and updated suspension/drivetrain mounting changes brought additional performance and improved handling. Inside, a new dashboard and a lower floor increased safety and comfort. For 1957, a second series of upgrades, dubbed the 'T2' body, further set the 356 A apart from earlier models. Through-bumper exhaust, Zenith carburetors, and updated crankshafts were the most notable adjustments. Today, early 356s are often just as valuable, if not more so, than their later counterparts for their relative rarity and more pure styling, making them ideal choices for any investor or enthusiast's collection. The sensational 1959 Porsche 356 A 1600 Super Coupe featured here is finished in highly desirable Stone Grey over a gorgeous Olive leather/corduroy interior. This incredible motorcar received a no-expense-spared restoration by marque experts with over $175,000 spent. This investment-grade Porsche is not only finished in one of the most desirable colors but also retains its original matching numbers 1600 'Super' engine, making this the perfect example for any premier collection.
