Discovered under a tarp in the 1990s by Tom Kayser, it was initially mistaken for a Notchback. After verifying its VIN, Tom purchased it in 2002, uncovering a unique history tied to Kalamazoo's Boogie Records. Through the 356 Registry, Tom identified sister cars, all originally painted Silver Metallic. MOST RECENT UPGRADES Current owner Kobus Reyneke has enhanced the car for touring and concours events. Following $26,000 in 2018/19 engine and gearbox work, the car now performs flawlessly for long-distance travel.
