Seller's Comments

We are offering a 1957 Lincoln Premiere Convertible Coupe thats one of just 3,676 examples produced and is in beautiful overall condition in Gainsborough Blue and Cream leather upholstery with only 34,909 miles. It comes equipped with a 300-hp, 368-cu. in. V-8 and a Turbo-Drive automatic transmission, power top with automatic locking feature, power windows, power steering, and brake. Following a total redesign for the 1956, Lincoln simply dressed up its 1957 models with new tailfins (the first true fins for Lincoln), upright dual headlights, and additional chrome trim. The V-8 under the hood was redesigned, with compression boosted to 10.0:1, raising the horsepower to 300, and the Turbo-Drive automatic transmission became standard equipment. However, sales fell, but that means that today these models, especially the top-of-the-line Premiere convertible, are exceptionally rare. Beautifully maintained, this is an award-winning example with all of the correct power accessories typical to these luxurious models, including the first-year self-locking convertible top.
