Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1956 Dodge Coronet. The Dodge Coronet is an automobile that was marketed by Dodge in seven generations, and shared nameplates with the same bodyshell with varying levels of equipment installed. Introduced as a full-size car in 1949, it was the divisions highest trim line and moved to the lowest level starting in 1955 through 1959. The name was reintroduced on intermediate-sized models from the 1965 until 1976 model years. In 1955 the Dodge Coronet was restyled and grew by six-inches, became wider, and now sat closer to the ground. Powering this 1956 Dodge Coronet is a Red Ram Hemi V8 backed by the optional Push Button Transmission. This technology had been borrowed from Chrysler and proved to be rather popular with many. This particular Coronet is finished in a beautiful shade of Gray, the car is striking in person and draws a large amount of attention wherever it goes.
