The Task Force was introduced in 1955 and would be the first major re-design since 1947 and would be a completely new and more modern design without sacrificing durability. Over the course of five years during the production of the Task Force, there would be minor changes, which were mostly cosmetic. It would feature the truck industrys first wrap-around windshield, would be offered with a optional power steering, power brakes and for the first time, the headlamps would be integrated into the body. This particular absolute Stud of an example is probably way better than new in every way. It has had a gone through a complete restoration with excellent attention to detail. the paint, chrome, brite work bot inside and out look fantastic. This 3100 starts right up, shifts well, drives nice and brakes too! It is becoming hard to find, nice clean stock examples as most you see have been modified or cut-up. We welcome any questions or inspections here in our Traverse City location. This comes with a couple of its stock parts that have been converted during restoration along with a car-cover.
