*1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe*® The Tri-Five Chevrolet is an evocative classic. A stunningly designed car, that, during its three year production run between 1955 and 1957, offered looks, performance and luxury, that was not out of reach for the general public. Offered in multiple body-styles and with countless trim packages, the Bel Air was the one to have, with its famous chrome grille, bumpers and side trim. This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a 2-door coupe that has been extensively modified for outstanding performance and comfort, without compromising the original shape that made it so famous.® Finished in a stunning shade of deep metallic blue, this Bel Air has had a number of subtle body modifications that enhance the overall appearance, but are subtle enough that you might not even notice. Shaved door handles and trunk lid give the car an almost concept-car look, and are paired with remote poppers on a fob and the chrome bumpers have been smoothed to a single piece as well. The headlights may look classic, but they are actually from® Delta Xenon and provide excellent light, while polished American Racing wheels sit in front of Corvette disc brakes in front. A fully custom exhaust features for side pipes on each side of the car that exit just behind the front doors and give this car an appropriately aggressive noise.® The interior is undeniably custom, and was completed to a stunning level. Finished in tan leather on the seats, center console, door cards and dash board, the carpets have been reupholstered to match, with leather edging around the cabin. In front, a pair of bucket seats are separated by a large console with auxiliary gauges, controls for the Vintage Air climate control, power window switches and more. Slide behind the wheel and you are met with a billet steering wheel with a leather wrapped rim, and through that a set of white-faced gauges inset within stunning billet metal dashboard trim. The trunk is upholstered to match the interior.® Under the hood sits an enormous 540ci V8 from Dart Machinery. This is known to be a manufacturer of high-quality engines, and is topped by a Holley HP carburetor with a ZEX nitrous-oxide system installed as well. Keeping everything cool is a sizable aluminum radiator from Be Cool with dual electric fans, and a serpentine pulley system has also been installed. Power is sent from this engine through a TH400 3-speed automatic to the rear wheels, which are on a 4-link suspension setup. At all four corners, QA1 coilovers have been fitted which allows the owner to dial in the ride height and other suspension characteristics.® This 1955 Bel Air is nothing short of a stunning build that will get loads of attention everywhere you go. From its subtle good looks, to the massive power plant under the hood, everything has been thoroughly figured out and with a few thousand miles under its wheels since the build was completed, the teething issues should be all ironed out.® *Key Features* * Custom Bodywork
