The card is stamped TAX PAID and the license number is recorded as BU-10-79. Also written at the top of the card is Memo Dbn Br for caravan 34126 5-7-10 (that 6-digit number is most likely a sales order number to send the car on that caravan or whatever it was, as the original Sales Order number was 929784. A color photo of this 1940 Continental Cabriolet with Michigan plate for 1940, # BU-10-79, appears on page 8 of Lorin Sorensens sixth coffee-table book, The Good Old Fords, captioned, The pretty Queen of the Ann Arbor Michigan, Cherry Blossom Festival in 1940, with new Continental Cabriolet and it has the pair of road lights on it, as written on the card, Pr Road Li Our Zephyr Continental Cabriolet has been treated to a fresh body off, nut and bolt restoration. No expense spared through the restoration process to bring it to a level that would be comparable to when its sold new in 1940. Restoration receipts and photos are included as well. Just an incredible example. Every inch of the Zephyr has been massaged, reconditioned and brought to a highly collectible level and done factory correct. Needless to say, the Cabriolets in turnkey condition. In addition, it handles and drives and brakes as it should. Got to be the finest example anywhere.
