Restored 1931 Ford Model A Victoria
This 1931 Ford Model A Victoria benefits from an older restoration. Two-tone green and black over green upholstery. Just out of a large collection, it's been in storage and requires mechanical recommissioning prior to use. A very attractive car wearing a mellowed restoration. Ford replaced the Model T with the substantially more advanced Model A in 1928. The new model debuted a host of significant improvements, namely its L-head inline-four cylinder engine which boasted increased displacement and an output of 40 horsepower double that of the Model T. The A also adopted a more conventional layout of driver controls, which included a clutch pedal and gear shift lever controlling the new three-speed manual transmission. The Victoria was built with extra-wide doors for ease of entry and had folding front seats for access to the roomy rear seat. Behind the rear seat was luggage space, provided by adding a pleasing bustle to the car?s rear contour. It also had a visor-less slanted windshield and a lowered steering column. Cars were available in two roof styles, with steel rear quarters or with a full padded fabric cover. The Victoria was perhaps the most unique body style of all the Model As. An excellent car for touring, shows or just having fun.
