Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this classic 1930 Ford Model A Taxi for sale. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This example is the popular four door sedan in Deluxe trim. Theres seating for 4 and plenty of windows to keep cool on a summer day. In the back seat there are even pull down shades for privacy and convenience. Under the hood is a simple and reliable flat head 4-cylinder engine and is mated with a rugged 3-speed manual transmission that transfers power to a stock FOMOCO rear axle. These cars were never speed machines, but they excelled at being tough and dependable. This 1930 Model A fires up nicely and runs and drives as it should. The exterior is a cloth red and is so cozy you might just have to take a nap in the back.. This Model A is road ready to roll and miles and miles of memories left to make.
