Brought my Infiniti for warranty work. - Infiniti nightmare

Brought my Infiniti for warranty work. The appointment was for 10 am. They texted me at 2:30, just getting around to looking at it. Basically said they would warranty the work, I was 7000 miles overdue for an oil change. I had one 8000 miles ago. Am I supposed to change it every 1000 miles. What a nightmare this place is. Scott Joys, service manager, once he finally called me back, was a bully, talked over me, awful experience.
